Family Bushcraft Sessions


Looking to Re-Wild Your Family? Looking to spend quality time together in nature? Looking to learn some new skills?
Then look no further.
On this session we will cover:
Session 1: Fire: Learn to light a fire with a fire striker, have a go with flint & steel. Learn about fire safety, finding wood, fire lays, tinder bundles, natural tinders and more.
On other sessions we will cover:
Session 2: Tool Use: Learn how to use a knife, folding saw and axe safely. We will then be making wooden mallets and pegs and learning to split wood safely and more.
Session 3: Shelters: They will learn to build various woodland shelters, from a debris A-frame survival shelter to a tarp shelter and more.
Session 4: Ethnobotany: Learn to identify various trees & plants, learn about there uses (medicinally, edibility, for crafts and how important they are for wildlife), make some cordage, herb teas and an ointment.
These sessions are aimed at adults with children aged 5 years +, except the tool using session which is 6+ (but please get in touch to discuss this).
£10 per person, per session. (please let us know when you book, how many are children or adults, thanks). Adults & Children need tickets.
You do not have to book on to the sessions in order.
